Elegant Autumnal Wedding at Kinkell Byre with Bramble + Thyme

September and October are my favourite months to shoot weddings. Why? Because the light is incredible. Sunset falls in that sweet spot around the meal ending and the party starting. Beyond that, Scotland comes alive. It’s as if the contrast slider has been turned up to max and paint has been sprinkled over the hills, flowers and tress. I could go on and on but I’ll exercise some restraint and get onto the main event.

Lynsey + David’s Kinkell Byre wedding was dreamy. The girls got ready in Falkirk - my wonderful second, Kathryn Tuckerman, documented that side of things - whilst I hung out with the lads in St Andrews before descending on Kinkell Byre where everything else was held. Big thanks to the wonderful Fiona Wallace of Bramble + Thyme for the spectacular flowers. Two other big shout outs go to the lovely folks over at the St Andrews Catering Company. Not only was their food delicious, they were the nicest of people. Another shout out to the band Wireless. They were ready on time to kick the party off in style.
