Forgans Winter Wedding with a Handmade Wedding Dress From Vietnam

A Forgans winter wedding really is the stuff of dreams. It’s a gem of a venue that’s packed full of interesting details, an attentive team of staff and top-notch food. Side note: there’s two Forgans - one in St Andrews and the other, where Olivia + Jordan held their wedding, in Broughty Ferry. Both are fantastic.

When Olivia + Jordan invited me to be their photographer and film-maker, they didn’t have to ask twice. You see, there’s a group of folks who’re the best of pals who live around the Dundee area. I first connected with this crazy bunch at Tom + Rebecca’s Guardswell Farm wedding all but a few summers ago. Since then, I’ve photographed another couple from the group (epic blog post coming shortly) as well as doing a few family shoots for the folks who’ve gone on to extend their clans. In short, this bunch are the finest of folks who know how to throw awfy fine celebrations packed with memorable shenanigans.

Olivia + Jordan live in Vietnam. They’re deeply missed. From this point of view, their wedding was a long-overdue get together with only one kind of an end: a crazy, energetic celebration! Shout out to JimJam Ceilidh Band who kept us on our feet. Olivia had her dress made by a wizard of a dress-maker. Be sure to max out the photos in the gallery to see the detail. Just beautiful.
