Scottish Elopement >> Scottish Glencoe | Alternative Wedding Photography

This wedding has been featured in Rock n Roll magazine: FULL POST

When Robyn + Adam booked me last July, I knew it was going to be a special day. There are some weddings you have that gut feeling about. That it was going to be an off-the-hook insanely epic kind of a day. The kind of day where you share something so special and you walk away as friends.

Robyn and Adam eloped to Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands. I don't mean to sound patronising but the Glencoe elopement trail has become something of a thing. These two took hold of this well-trodden trail and utterly owned it. They didn't follow a pattern or path of the folks before. They carved their own unique, stylish, creative version of it. Marrying by the shores of Loch Leven, two hours after the scheduled ceremony start time, the pair shared their story with us, engaged in a hand-fasting, laughed as their celebrant, Claire, added her personal touches to it.

Following their meal at the Claichaig Inn, we went to play. My site makes clear that those who book me tend to be 'adventuresome and outdoorsy'. These two epitomise the essence of this phrase. They gave me free reign. You'll see what happened...
