Investing in your wedding photography
Every wedding is different - from intimate gatherings in the Highlands to multi-day celebrations at venues like Achnagairn Castle or Gleneagles. So - my approach to photography and film reflects that. Coverage is designed to be flexible, allowing you to create something that feels right for your day.
WHAT YOU’LL GET FROM ME
I offer coverage of your wedding in my signature editorial photography style, and I also offer an optional add-on of an impressionistic film of your day. I’m a considered and unobtrusive presence on your wedding day, but I’m not shy - I’ll lead when it’s useful, and with my years of experience, I’ll bring an appropriate sense of calm to the occasion.
Everybody’s service is somewhat different - I don’t offer set packages as such - but all commissions include:
THOUGHTFULLY EDITED HIGH-RESOLUTION IMAGES
A PRIVATE ONLINE GALLERY FOR VIEWING AND SHARING
GUIDANCE IN THE LEAD-UP TO YOUR WEDDING, IF AND WHEN YOU NEED IT
THE OPTION OF AN IMPRESSIONISTIC FILM ADD-ON
FULL PERSONAL PRINTING RIGHTS
WHAT IT COSTS
Rather than offering set packages, I work on an hourly basis. Every day is different, and this allows me to offer total flexibility, from a few hours in an intimate celebration, to multi-day coverage at international commissions.
Photography coverage typically begins from £2,400, with most couples investing between £3,000–£6,000+ depending on the scale of the wedding or gathering. Film and extended coverage can be tailored alongside this. Family and newborn sessions are typically between £400-£700.
FAQs

Your photos are yours to use, keep, print and upload as you please. You’ll also have access to a private online gallery where you can order fine art prints directly. It’s beautifully simple and saves a lot of time. The personal use license doesn’t transfer the right to use the images commercially or to edit the work - if you require a different license then please get in touch.

I’m based in Scotland and photograph weddings and gatherings across the country, including venues like Gleneagles, The Fife Arms in Braemar, Achnagairn Castle, Thirlstane Castle in the Borders. I regularly work throughout Scotland and beyond, and I’m always happy to travel wherever your plans take you - worldwide included.

Over-planning isn’t really my thing. My diary opens around 18 months in advance, but I always keep space for more spontaneous celebrations. If you’re planning something on a shorter timeline — even a few weeks out — it’s always worth getting in touch. Some of my favourite weddings have come together that way.

Completely understood. I keep group photographs relaxed and efficient, and I’ll try to return to your day as quickly as possible. But - they’re actually super fun, I promise! Check out my Editorial Portraits gallery in Collections to see plenty of fun group shots that you’d actually like having on your mantlepiece.

My work is a blend of editorial and documentary wedding photography. I focus on capturing things as they naturally unfold for much of the wedding, while also creating portraits that feel intentional and creative, though still true to you. The result is imagery that feels both considered and honest, hopefully with a strong sense of atmosphere and light.
Can’t speak highly enough about Carole-Ann, who photographed my daughter’s wedding day. She captured the most stunning images with no intrusion and an ability to fade into the background. A class act with output that reflects her brilliance.
