An Early Winter Wedding at Dovecot Studios Featuring Pyrus Botanicals

Weddings at Dovecot Studios are tremendous events. It’s a beautifully, creative venue in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town. Once swimming baths, it’s been converted and is now used as a tapestry studio and art gallery space. Dovecot Studios is one of my all time favourite venues. It’s definitely my favourite Edinburgh venue. Fancy finding out more, head over to the full venue review post >> HERE.

P+L planned their wedding from afar. Based in the south of England, the couple pulled together an impressive, stylish day which felt effortless. Ronit Quayle was their Humanist celebrant. The ceremony she conducted felt genuinely personal and warm. A huge shout out to the mighty floristy geniuses who are Pyrus Botanicals. They really are wizards at what they do. Anyone reading this who’s booked me for their wedding and who’s looking for a florist, please consider these mighty fine folks. Following on from the ceremony, Appetite Direct turned the weaving floor around subtly while guests milled around the balcony, enjoying the Gin bar as well as delicious canapés which flowed from the kitchen throughout.

A huge shout out to my wonderful second shooter: Neil from Pocket Square Photography. Between us we had plenty to chat about and covered P+L’s wedding from every angle we could manage.
